i honestly don't think the ndp can change there name to just democratic party with credibility and such a move would be very confusing to voters . and obvivously be an attempt to try and associate themselves with the american democrats south of the border even though the 2 parties are not at all affiliated in any such way . and i'm not sure the american democrats would be cool with or approve such a move either , i somehow suspect they'd be cold to such a move of being associated with such a party even if it was just by name only .
